A Name with Meaning

Our name, Mū-Mū, is a harmonious blend of the Mandarin words for ‘bath’ and ‘tree.’ This reflects our commitment to providing clean, natural products that honor your well-being and the environment.

In-Person Recommendations & Skincare Guidance

If you're like me, it's easy to get lost down a rabbit hole of online research. You have a specific product in mind, but when you type it in the search, you uncover 50 options. Then, you're spinning in circles, trying to settle on the right one for you, and analysis paralysis sets in. At least, that's the trap I often fall into. 

Online product descriptions and photos are helpful, but sometimes, you need a little bit more. When you come to the shop, we will welcome you in like family. We aren't a big chain, and we're genuinely passionate about serving Brooklyn and formulating great products that you know and love—and new ones to be discovered! It's truly our greatest pleasure to help you find what you're looking for, and we hope the experience feels like a warm hug.

Mumu Bath began with a mission to safely resolve a bad case of eczema when our founder Sasha's baby girl was born. She couldn't find a product she loved, so she began formulating her own, infused with time-tested ingredients from her Taiwanese heritage.
